All security officers must meet the following qualifications:
Be a minimum of eighteen (18) years old.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Have the legal right to work in the United States (as determined by E-Verify).
Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently.
Be reliable, punctual, and have a professional appearance/demeanor and a positive attitude.
Remain smoke-free on the job site and during working hours.
Proficiency in smartphone use and access to email and the Internet.
Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Be of good moral character as determined by background and reference checks
Pass a personality assessment, behavioral analysis screen, and/or psychological exam.
Pass a physical fitness test (if required).
Hold a valid DCJS registration (security license) in the category applied for.
Have a minimum of one (1) year of military, law enforcement, or security experience OR a combination of equivalent education and experience.
Successfully complete Protection Enforcement Agency’s security officer training course upon hire.
Possess or obtain a valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within thirty (30) days of hire.
Possess or obtain intermediary weapons certifications.
